Myleen holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Honours, and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Public International Law from City, University of London. Her academic background is complemented by practical experience gained during an internship at a law firm in the Maldives, and her work as a student advisor at her university’s Legal Advice Centre, where she developed a strong foundation in legal research and client advisory services.
Myleen joined SHC as a Trainee Lawyer in 2024. Since then, she has contributed to the firm’s work across a range of practice areas, with a focus on commercial transactions and regulatory compliance.
Recent Experience Includes:
- Supporting the firm in high-value commercial transactions and regulatory compliance matters.
- Conducting legal research and preparing internal briefs on legislative and policy developments.
- Assisting in the drafting and review of contracts, and due diligence reports.
- Translation of legal acts, cases and regulations from Dhivehi to English Language.
