Madheeh began his career as a tax auditor at the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority, where he gained more than half a decade of experience in tax auditing.During this time, he developed a strong understanding of tax laws, compliance requirements, and the complexities faced by taxpayers. At the state revenue authority, he worked on audits of both large and medium taxpayers across various industries, enhancing his knowledge in diverse business contexts.

Following that, Madheeh moved into tax advisory, where he further broadened his expertise. Over the course of his career, he has accumulated over nine years of experience in taxation.

Madheeh has extensively worked on reviewing company tax structures, identifying and addressing compliance gaps, and advising on strategies to manage tax risks effectively. He has also assisted businesses in handling tax authority audits, preparing objection reports, and responding to inquiries from the tax authority.

Madheeh is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives.
