Mizfa holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of London, UK and has been admitted to the Bar of the Maldives.

Mizfa’s main practice areas include banking and financing, hospitality and tourism, employment matters and etc. Mizfa’s recent experience includes of:

• Assisting in various multi-million-dollar loan transactions as junior banking and financing attorney for multiple lenders and world-class renowned resorts and management groups established in the Maldives.
• Assisting in acquisition of operating resort hotels, lagoons, islands for development of resorts and hotels for various foreign-owned hotel groups.
• Assisting for various foreign-owned companies for registration of foreign investments in the Maldives, including initial set-up and establishment of a local presence, obtaining various licenses and permits;

Apart from private practice, Mizfa is actively engaged in CSR projects. Mizfa currently sits in the board of Mission for Migrant Workers Maldives (MMWM), an NGO registered in the Maldives solely advocating for the rights of migrant workers. She was actively engaged with organisations such as Amnesty International, DTS, Royal Commonwealth Society Youth Affairs, Career Club, etc.

Mizfa has also been exposed to several foreign jurisdictions during her time in Trowers & Hamlins International and a boutique law firm in Kuala Lumpur.
