Bidding and tenders

We assist clients on bids and tender for greenfield and brownfield infrastructure projects. We have assisted various multinational conglomerates on bids for infrastructure project, including, GMR Group and Changi Airports on the bid of Male’ international airport development, and a Spanish-based conglomerate on the bid of the Gulhifalhu waste-to-energy project announced by Maldives Government.

Project documentation and management

We have extensive experience on project contract documentation including FIDIC based contracts and frequently assist clients on preparation, negotiation and finalisation of the same for transactional purposes. We also assist clients in obtaining relevant regulatory approvals and registrations and liaise closely with Government authorities on project management.

Financing

We are the leading choice for the financing and development of projects in the Maldives, including resort hotel development projects, and infrastructure projects. We have advised on a number of first-of-its-kind transactions, such as acting for HSBC and syndicate lenders on USD 300 million financing for a Pontiac Group lagoon development project, and acting for Industrial Commercial Bank of China on the financing for construction of Male’-Hulhumale’ bridge and link road.
