Mr. M. Aseel Hassan, Attorney-at-Law, delivered the Opening Remarks at a one-day Sports Arbitration Conference held on 11 October 2026 at Crossroads Maldives, in his capacity as Vice Chairman of the Maldives International Arbitration Centre (MIAC).
MIAC organized the conference together with the Maldives Olympic Committee and the Asian International Arbitration Centre, as an Associated Event of Asia ADR Week. The aim was to familiarise key stakeholders in the sporting sector with sports arbitration and its potential role in resolving sports-related disputes.
