SHC Law & Tax acted as lead counsel to Aareal Bank AG in the successful refinancing of Alila Kothaifaru Maldives, a five – star luxury resort located in Raa Atoll, Republic of Maldives managed by the Alila brand under the Hyatt portfolio.
The transaction consisted of comprehensive refinancing of existing facilities and restructuring of resort’s financing arrangements, whereby we provided full legal support to Aareal Bank AG in respect of structuring advice, drafting and negotiation of facility and security documentation, and local law compliance in respect of securities.
