Legal Practice

Zeyba has valuable and transferable legal experience in the UK, including casework for a legal charity supporting immigration detainees. Her work involved drafting legal submissions read by Judges at the First-tier Tribunal, liaising with leading UK barristers, and providing legal advice through outreach initiatives and helplines.
She has also interned at SHC and the Attorney General’s Office of the Maldives, gaining exposure to a range of legal practice areas. Zeyba is currently undergoing comprehensive legal training as an Associate at SHC, with a primary focus on corporate and commercial law.

Education and Background

Zeyba holds a First Class Honours in Law (LLB) from King’s College London, United Kingdom. Alongside her work at SHC, she is currently undertaking the ICCA Bar Course in preparation for the Bar Standards Board examinations in England and Wales. Prior to her LLB, Zeyba completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma at UWCSEA in Singapore, reflecting her strong international academic foundation.
